Air America has been cut but Hair America is growing like a full bodied bouffant. The new radio network will feature Rod ‘Presley’ Blogojevich and John ‘Slip & Fall’ ‘Baby Daddy’ Edwards. They are in negotiations with The Donald.

Air America was hard to listen to and the hosts had bad to mediocre hair. Hair America promises to leave you feeling silky smooth and will give the confidence to achieve all your goals, no matter how sordid, and still be considered as a possible Presidential candidate for the Democratic Party.

obamastan: brown pounds it down

One year in and the mask has been torn from the great deceiver. My prediction is still good, so I’d get some duct tape, store water, and prepare for a show from the Brothers. They won’t be written off and are focused like a laser on blowing shit up and killing innocent people. Somehow they think that will make us all want to become Muslims.

That 12th Imam will either show or not. Sparks will fly in the Straits of Hormuz and throughout the networks of the Islamic Republic(God protect Israel). Fuel will be scarce along with food even in America.

We will need to be strong as a nation to survive. The Democrat Massacre of the last month will help to get back the strength we need to prevail through dark times. Just getting free from the shackles of the Progressive Democrats is all we need to remain The Land Of The Free.

Defend Michael:

On March 20th, 2009, Army Ranger 1st Lieutenant Michael Behenna was sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing Ali Mansur, a known Al Qaeda operative while serving in Iraq. Mansur was known to be a member of an Al Qaeda cell operating in the lieutenant’s area of operation and was suspected to have organized an attack on Lt. Behenna’s platoon in April 2008 which killed two U.S. soldiers and injured two more. Army intelligence ordered the release of Mansur and Lt. Behenna was ordered to return the terrorist to his home.

During the return of Mansur, Lt. Behenna again questioned the Al Qaeda member for information about other members of the terrorist cell, and financial supporters. During this interrogation, Mansur attacked Lt. Behenna, who killed the terrorist in self-defense. The government subsequently prosecuted Lt. Behenna for premeditated murder.

video: first hydrogen bomb test

Wired Science:

The long-distance scientific recordings of the blast wave from the first hydrogen bomb test have been rediscovered in a formerly classified safe at Columbia University.

On November 1, 1952, physicists created the second fusion explosion the solar system has ever known. The first occurred around 4.5 billion years ago and ignited the ongoing fusion reaction in the sun. The second, the Ivy Mike experiment, was shorter lived and detonated on an atoll in the South Pacific. This 10-megaton blast was five times more powerful than all the explosives used in World War II combined, including the nuclear-fission bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

games from my father

Posted in word-drum with tags , , on January 7, 2010 by Word-Drum

My late father left me two things. Six years ago he gave me his car. I had to get a regular job first and I couldn’t of done it without him. I still have the car but the other thing he gave me makes me think of him even more.

When he got sick and I spent more time with him than I ever had, we watched the Suns whenever they played. At first I thought it was good since we didn’t have to talk to each other. After a while I became a fan. Before that I had an attitude about sports. My father recognized this and was mildly pleased that I had expanded my horizons.

When I was a kid he would take me to Cobo Hall in Detroit to watch the Pistons. We used to cheer for Dave Bing who is now Mayor of Detroit. He is sounding fiscally responsible and I can cheer for that. I was lucky to grow up near Detroit, it’s like being from Vienna in the 19th Century, if you are an American musician.

I don’t know why I love the Suns and enjoy when they win so much. But whatever the reason, I have my father to thank.

————————————————————————————-

Update June 19, 2010: Since the Play-Offs, this little post has had many hits. (Suns Fans searching the Internets for Suns stuff.) The weird thing is weeks after Kobe’s Death Blow, you crazy fans are still thinking about the Suns. It’s over. It is for me anyway.

I can’t stand to think that I soon might be hearing that Amare is leaving the team. This will be a crushing blow, even though I wish him all the best.

In my few years as a Suns fan, this has been the best season. It will take some time to get used to a Phoenix Suns without Amare Stoudemire.

If you are Googling yourself Amare: Please stay in Phoenix. You are the heart of the Suns.

Break up the Nash/Stoudemire weapon of mass destruction!?

What do you think? You Freaks!

American Thinker:

Did Obama Politicize the Terror Database?

by James Lewis

In his usual heroic fashion, Obama tossed that hot Christmas Bomber potato to Janet Napolitano, and when she dropped the potato, it got cannoned over to the CIA with a quick fake to Dick Cheney, who didn’t even bother to answer. Obama kept his head buried deep in the sand at Oahu for almost four days while all this was going on. But this was Obama’s personal hot potato, and I believe he may personally be at fault for placing almost three hundred passengers in deadly peril on NW Flight 253 on Christmas Day.

later…

Red Flag 4. He’s 23 years old, a kid from a wealthy family who is both spoiled and lost in the big world — exactly the kind of comfortable, alienated, and confused character who gets targeted by the bomber imams to go and blow himself up. He’s got the perfect psychological profile, similar to the Fort Hood shooter. That also happens to be the profile of the kids who become Communist radicals and the ones who became Nazis in the 1930s.

The psychology is always the same. It keeps repeating over and over, and only the media can pretend to be surprised. Bill Ayers was a rich kid. Bernardine Dohrn was a rich kid. Barack Hussein Obama’s family was not rich, but middle class — Barack himself was very spoiled, very indulged, and went to all the rich-kid schools. He never had to pay for anything; everything in life was free for BHO. Karl Marx was a rich kid who went bad. So was Pol Pot. The biggest ideological extremists are always the same. They are almost never poor and desperate kids, because poor families raise their kids differently. They have to work and learn about reality, fast. It’s always the middle class — “idealistic,” overeducated, confused, culturally estranged, depressed, grandiose, narcissistic, personally troubled kids who become Adolf Hitler.

breitbart can do it

Posted in media, new things, obama era, television with tags , , , , on January 3, 2010 by Word-Drum

Who else can come up with an alternative to The Fox News Channel?

For they are not all they’re cracked up to be.

Mr. Breitbart says he isn’t getting rich with all his endeavors. Maybe it’s time that conservatives help him increase his income. With all due respect to Roger Ailes and Capitalism, we need a smart, entertaining Cable TV News Channel to rival Fox News.

I had to add Julie Banderas to my list of people I don’t like there. She is a first rate broadcaster.[Update: I love Julie Banderas, just not her liberal politics. I remember her from her days as a local broadcaster in New York, when she wore glasses. She is as good as anyone on TV. ] But liberals bug me almost as much as that pounding music they play all the time when she gives the news.

Yesterday she showed how Liberalism makes you stupid. She kept calling profiling, in regards to the Undie Bomber: “Racial Profiling.” It’s not the same thing. BANG you’re dead Liberal! PCness Kills.

Bill O’Reilly, Shep Smith, Geraldo, Huckleberry, are only some of the people I can’t watch. Beck is starting to bug me too. Hannity doesn’t do it for me. I also have trouble listening to most of the female broadcasters. Their voices are too high or just annoying.

I can’t listen to Democrat Party Hacks on any station. Fox News is not live most of the time and can hardly be called 24/7. Reruns of news shows and talk radio don’t work. [Update 1-4-10 Beck is back and doing more good work] All in all, Mr. Ailes’ vision does not appeal to this conservative, even though they do sometimes do great work at the Blond News Network.

OK Andrew, let’s do this thing.

You’re here. Where you been? You told me loved me. Then you told me you hate me. I wrote hundreds of compositions and a whole novel (and lost it). You said try to write it down. I started from the beginning and got bored. It turned into Science Fiction Fantasy.

I longed for you. Years of silence ended five years ago. Finally time to put meaning and shape to a life. A microphone not for singing old songs but telling a story.

You are here but I can’t see you. That’s alright because you can’t see me. Remember me the way I used to look. You haven’t changed but I keep finding new changes. Chords that must be played. They sound strange to you at first as they did to me. Just like the tunes I used to write.

Why supplant an original musical style with a “Right-Wing Blog?”

I did it for you. You didn’t need new music, you only said you did. It is all expression to me. You can leave again but I have found a way to keep you here.

I can’t forget how I waited for you. You will take each piece of the story as it comes. And help me to remember the passing news that can’t be lost. Gone are the notebooks, collages, the scores and the saxophone, and that crazy novel. The songs and rhymes didn’t penetrate. But you will stay here.
