the run down

Posted in democrats, economy, liberals, politics on September 21, 2012 by Word-Drum

It doesn’t matter if the intentions of the President were good or bad, the fact is the country has been run down.

Our economic power as a nation and individually has been run down.

Our political influence around the world is going up…

in flames along with the American flag.

How great is gay marriage if you can’t walk down the street without someone stealing your shoes?

How can we have more abortions if there are no more beauty salons and other diversions from motherhood? – because all we will care about is finding something to eat.

Yes, Liberals, I’m talking to you. You won’t celebrate for long once you’ve killed the Golden Goose.

We are reaching the point of no return. The issue is the economy. Will we do the right thing, or the left thing?

I can’t talk to libs directly anymore, maybe one will see this by mistake.

what’s his game?

We have learned that some Muslims are easily upset. Our government feels their pain, the Muslims being such sensitive people, they want to take them in their arms and rock them.

The Founders made Freedom of Speech the First Amendment. Numero Uno. If this government doesn’t honor that, they should be thrown out of office.

We won’t be under Sharia in America. Not gonna happen.

[For those not as hip as some of my readers, under the Sharia (Islamic Law) there is no criticism of Islam allowed.]

The blood thirsty mobs won’t stand for free speech, and our government is bowing to their genocidal rage. And leaving high and dry all Muslims yearning for their full human rights.

We remember 9/11. Let’s at least cut all aid to Egypt, as we are putting a great deal of advanced weaponry in there. The old alliance will break down soon (if it hasn’t already) between Israel and Egypt. The Army will lose power and the war will start.

What game is our government playing? Obama is still an unknown.

His followers are zoned out. They don’t follow this. Many are Jewish and still don’t care, and don’t know that our government seems to be facilitating more Islamic fervor. They are running out of Christians to murder.

Many Muslims will die in the wars, and they will keep coming.

We remember 9/11. We know the side that’s not so sensitive. Why is Obama and Hillary stirring them up?

Some say the Left is like the Islamists, only they like sex, drugs and rock and roll. But they both want central control.

We want the freedom of speech and the rest of the Constitution to be the law of the land. And to be left alone. Let’s leave Afghanistan and let the tribes fight it out. We gave it our best shot there and in Iraq, and we helped for a while.

Why shouldn’t Americans be able to make films mocking Islam? Millions are spent every year by major corporations producing anti- Christian propaganda. They call it “entertainment.” We all have a right to say, write or mime whatever the f-ck we want.

                                    The Strait of Hormuz

The Telegraph:

An armada of US and British naval power is massing in the Persian Gulf in the belief that Israel is considering a pre-emptive strike against Iran’s covert nuclear weapons programme.

Battleships, aircraft carriers, minesweepers and submarines from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war.

Continue

The Strait of Hormuz is a chokepoint for 20% of the world’s oil.

A six week disruption in fuel supply is likely. The high prices and low supply should return to normal with the strong leadership of the world’s lone superpower.

So it it could turn into World War III.

Muslim Brotherhood and the killing and persecution of Christians in Egypt

Now, emboldened by the Muslim Brotherhood rising to power in Egypt, Muslim jihadist organizations are openly calling for genocide against the Egyptian Christian population. The extremist group El Fagr openly distributed leaflets titled “An Urgent and Important Notice,” it begins by calling on “all brothers and sisters” to “kill or physically attack the enemies of the religion of Allah—the Christians in all of Egypt’s provinces, the slaves of the Cross, Allah’s curse upon them” (bit.ly/PjQep0). The next day, Christian Refaat Eskander was murdered while tending to his shoe store in Asyut.

The Christian Science Monitor:

There may be no anti-Islamic movie at all

There have already been a bunch of lies associated with the alleged film. A man named “Sam Bacile” was identified as being the writer and producer. He claimed to be an Israeli citizen. The Israelis say they have no record of him. He claimed to have spent $5 million on the movie. The clip online doesn’t look like even $100,000 was spent. There is no record of a “Sam Bacile” living in California, and his strange insistence on the fact that he was Jewish and that he had exclusively Jewish funders for his film in an interview with the Associated Press now looks like something of a red flag.

The Independent

The killings of the US ambassador to Libya and three of his staff were likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach, The Independent can reveal.

American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.

(later in the article)

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and “lockdown”, under which movement is severely restricted.

Senior officials are increasingly convinced, however, that the ferocious nature of the Benghazi attack, in which rocket-propelled grenades were used, indicated it was not the result of spontaneous anger due to the video, called Innocence of Muslims. Patrick Kennedy, Under-Secretary at the State Department, said he was convinced the assault was planned due to its extensive nature and the proliferation of weapons.

They were bold. So were we. They weren’t called The Towers for nothing. They reached over the city with the energy of a million dancers.

When you entered the massive structures, you would find the human-scale inside and outside the buildings.

More than symbols to be destroyed by monsters for no good reason, they embodied and expressed a dynamic nation. Functional and beautiful.

They towered over the city and the free world. Where people traded the fruits of their labor in honest exchanges, in the pursuit of happiness and prosperity.

                                      Trading Freedom

We sit and wait for the decision on our futures in November.

I need to start a small business, which would be pointless if Obama wins.

We watch as the cost for everthing rises, and the value of what we own falls.

We can’t help wondering if like Washington D.C., our future will be grey hulking buildings low to the ground, not reaching boldly to the sky…

growing new ears

No, this isn’t a post where I get mad at people who don’t like my music. This is a beautiful and important story concerning our returning troops and the marvels of modern medical science.

Ideology aside, many of these programs were funded by the Federal government. All Americans can be proud of what the AFIRM program is achieving.

Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine

Stars and Stripes:

Surprising methods heal wounded troops

BOSTON (AP) — Scientists are growing ears, bone and skin in the lab, and doctors are planning more face transplants and other extreme plastic surgeries. Around the country, the most advanced medical tools that exist are now being deployed to help America’s newest veterans and wounded troops.

-In Los Angeles, surgeons used part of Michael Mills’ forehead to rebuild his nose after a bomb disfigured him in Iraq.

-In Pittsburgh, doctors used an experimental therapy from pig tissue to help regrow part of a thigh muscle that Ron Strang lost in a blast in Afghanistan.

-In Boston, scientists are making plans for the first implants of lab-grown ears for wounded troops after successful experiments in sheep and rats.

-In San Antonio and other cities, doctors are testing sprayed-on skin cells and lab-made sheets of skin to heal burns and other wounds. The ingenuity is impressive: One product was developed from foreskin left over from circumcisions.

Much of this comes from taxpayer-funded research. Four years ago, the federal government created AFIRM, the Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine, a network of top hospitals and universities, and gave $300 million in grants to spur new treatments using cell science and advanced plastic surgery.

“The whole idea is to bring all these researchers together to develop these great technologies that were in early science to eventually be ready for the troops,” said AFIRM’s recently retired director, Terry Irgens.

bad connection

I received a call late last night from a friend. It was God.

He was very upset and by mistake, He dialed my number. I thought I knew the voice and said: ”Trane?”

“No, It’s Me.”

He had never spoken directly to me. It was not the sound of A Love Supreme, it’s was His actual voice.

He sounded muted like Trane on the record “Ballads.” Trane stepped back from what he had been doing on that record because he had lost his mouthpiece and could not create the intense sound he had without it. He was heartbroken because his poor dental condition was also preventing him from reaching an altitude (and spiritual plane) never reached before.

The Lord sounded like an old romantic ballad from the 40s played by a jazz master debilitated by time or loss.

“I don’t know if even I have strength to stay with Democrats.”

“I always tried to help everyone find their way and find Me. I gave my blessing to America on it’s founding, knowing it would grow to be a truly great nation made up of people filled with My love.”

“I don’t appear in public but I hear the voices of those singing my praise. I don’t need the limelight, but it’s nice to hear the cheers of joy. Not for my ego, but for the success of my work. The Word is for the benefit of all who hear it. Knowing the word is working, I can rest.

“What upsets me tonight my friend is this: My love was denied by the most powerful political party in all of history. Arrogance blocks their ears from The Word.”

“Tonight I was booed for the first time at the Democrat Convention. They will deny it of course, for that is their way now. To lie and confuse.”

The Lord Spoke To Me (in Anger)

“It would be like the rhythm-section cut out and went home right at the high point of one of your smoking piano solos.

Do you dig me Word-Drum? They let me down.

And now I’m packing up and going to visit friends. I don’t know if I will return to them. I need time to cool off.”

story of the blog

Posted in Internet with tags on September 6, 2012 by Word-Drum

It’s a lot of fun hangin’ on the blog. You can get away from things and pretend you matter.

FaceBook will pass but bloggers carry the spirit of the rugged individual to the Internet. They also see something in themselves others don’t see (off line).

We must be thankful to the inventor of the blog, Weber Blogerstein. He first painted missives on some of the early television sets. He liked the way they lit up.

He immigrated from Austria and settled in Brooklyn, New York. After going broke from buying and destroying televisions, he went into the mirror business.

That too failed because he either spent all day looking in the mirror, or writing on them. He was fond of himself and wanted desperately to share is inner soul with complete strangers. They would see how beautiful he was inside. That would help if they ever got as look at him.

One day a boy named Al Gore walked into his shop. He too was mesmerised by his image reflected all around the large room.

He saw the writing on some of the illuminated mirrors and asked “What’s this”?

“It is the net that captures my inner dreams…and transmits them into a million minds.”

And that was 1962 when a million was an awesome market share.

Little Al never forgot the strange man and his glowing messages. “Inner Net, Inner Net“, he repeated all the way home.

The rest is history.

Don’t worry, we call everyone racist.

Democrats are angels. We have no past. Just believe us.

Yes, we were racists once. So we know racism when we see it.

Kill the Rich! (unless they are Democrats)

Hackery Pays. We gets paid and so can you.

Democrats: We dine on your money, have bigger hotel rooms and houses – we must be doing something right.

We have a lot of Jews, but we still hate Israel and G-d.

We’ll keep you safe from the racists, sexists, homophobes who want to kill everyone.

Straw Men for Obama

Corporations aren’t people. Fetuses aren’t people. Republicans aren’t people. Let’s destroy them all. Vote Democrat.

Vote for us, America isn’t so great.

We believe everything we hear. We only listen to ourselves.

We call people names. It’s cool.

Religion is for saps. We’re smarter.

OK, we didn’t build your business, but we can sure as hell can destroy it.

We’ll protect you, we only want most of your money. We’ll leave you something.

We don’t have to break your fingers, we have the IRS and Police Unions.

On your knees! We own this country.

Future man will see

“There were so many old and grey”
“What spell did they cast

Hollywood Mind Control so the Left could rule

Too weak and lame to fight or debate
