slow down there with your fife and drum

Posted in conservatives, liberals with tags , , on June 20, 2012 by Word-Drum

This is another report from the front in the war we call politics. I want to share my mistakes as a warning to passionate conservatives.

After countless fruitless battles with Liberals, which usually come back to hurt me, I try to avoid politics. But sometimes…Liberals Happen.

My guitar tech started going off on me about Global Warming. He could not believe that I questioned the whole premise. I moved too quickly and said: “Is it caused by Republicans?”

First I asked the more straight forward question: “So what do we do about it?” Playing along with the Collectivist Liberals and their “We” talk.

But even though I did not work for the guy, he had my guitars in his hands. So I backed off.

After all he had tried to fix my acoustic. He said it was just a cheap guitar made in China and it couldn’t be repaired. It carried the Washburn label and was a nice guitar for a few years. But it wasn’t a real Washburn. If I can ever replace it, I will buy one made in America.

So jumping to conclusions too fast, and conservative counter-culture, in the form of a joke, just freaks libs out. Unless you are in a position of power, don’t do it.

Most liberals have a Third-World mentality.

Like my neighbor who proudly proclaimed: “Both sides are thugs.”

It was the wrong tactic to tell him:

“It sounds like we’re living in the Third-World.” and “Do we need a dictator to tell us what to do?”

Let them be, there’s nothing you can say that will clear their minds. They will never listen to, or read conservatives.

If you don’t make funny faces and berate Republicans, it isn’t humor to Liberals.

I know many Tea Party Patriots are pissed. They are good and decent folks. They should have other things to think about.

Because many of them are the salt of the earth, they will fight on. What they fight for is real as opposed to the other side.

I still have not found the key that unlocks the soul of the political opposition. Though we all see that their ranks are breaking.

My Liberal Landlord said he might vote for Romney.

The poet in me sees a dark cloud rising over our blessed country.

When Barry loses, how will he react? What great plague will he bring down?

Will we return to the Detroit of my childhood – on fire along with a hundred other cities?

That’s great, a perfect time for an invasion, or an EMP attack.

Let cooler heads prevail. And why is it always the Black neighborhoods that burn?

They all have Democratic leadership.

Maybe that’s the problem for the Black Man. I know it’s a problem for all of us who are not part of the Machine.

The Liberals have had their fun, with their Super Majorities and Stalinist legislation (Obamacare). They suck, and the mess has to be cleaned up before it’s too late.

And if he wins, the chaos in the minds of Liberals will also spill into the streets. It won’t be pretty, but it might be fun for a while.

When the smoke clears, it might not be a fife a drum marching on, but the same spirit and rhythm of a free people, living in a free republic, will be there.

the tea party players: guerilla theatre

Zombies hate corporations but love their products…
                                    Stupid Zombie!

Tea Party Players dressed as Zombies invade the Occupy Wall Street demonstration. They all wear ipods and carry iphones, ipads and sport ishoes. The products are all labeled with the corporation that produces them. They look like zombie race car drivers covered in endorsements.

Together they mumble-sing:

“Millionaires, Billionaires: Yum Yum Yum.”

“Chew them up like bubble gum.”

Holding their arms out they mingle in the crowd and try to get the protesters to join them in Zombie behavior.

More and more Zombies move into the crowd of demonstrators. On a signal the Zombies all shoot blood from their mouths. They rush the stage and demand to speak to the crowd. Much chaos ensues and many of the cocky little communists decide to go home and take a shower. The air clears on Wall Street as the smelly hippies lose control to the stealth Patriots who strip off their ghoulish attire and wave American flags.

join the party

Word has the same response to people’s political rants:

                                   “Join The Party”

He means either the Communist Party, or the Tea Party, depending on the person.

For some folks he would offer a special price on a CPUSA membership, or a Howard Zinn Special Secret Membership. (He lost many readers for describing his own secret communist status with an artistic gamble called The Real Skinny on Word-Drum and Obama)

He challenges liberals to confront the implication of the policies they support.

For liberals in crisis (under Obama), the Tea Party might be the next step towards regaining control of their party from the Hard Left.

Since liberals like to party, drink tea, and live free just like the Tea Party, they can join the fun. It’s perfect for free-loaders since there are no dues (unlike CPUSA).

Word-Drum is a prankster. He transposed Abbie Hoffman and the Theater of the Absurd to conservative counter-culture. Does Sarah Palin call him, or Andrew Breitbart offer him a website (Big Drum)!? No, but life ain’t fair. “Fairness” isn’t fair either. It’s not American. Neither is communism. If you think it is, Join The Party!

breitbart can do it

Who else can come up with an alternative to The Fox News Channel?

For they are not all they’re cracked up to be.

Mr. Breitbart says he isn’t getting rich with all his endeavors. Maybe it’s time that conservatives help him increase his income. With all due respect to Roger Ailes and Capitalism, we need a smart, entertaining Cable TV News Channel to rival Fox News.

I had to add Julie Banderas to my list of people I don’t like there. She is a first rate broadcaster.[Update: I love Julie Banderas, just not her liberal politics. I remember her from her days as a local broadcaster in New York, when she wore glasses. She is as good as anyone on TV. ] But liberals bug me almost as much as that pounding music they play all the time when she gives the news.

Yesterday she showed how Liberalism makes you stupid. She kept calling profiling, in regards to the Undie Bomber: “Racial Profiling.” It’s not the same thing. BANG you’re dead Liberal! PCness Kills.

Bill O’Reilly, Shep Smith, Geraldo, Huckleberry, are only some of the people I can’t watch. Beck is starting to bug me too. Hannity doesn’t do it for me. I also have trouble listening to most of the female broadcasters. Their voices are too high or just annoying.

I can’t listen to Democrat Party Hacks on any station. Fox News is not live most of the time and can hardly be called 24/7. Reruns of news shows and talk radio don’t work. [Update 1-4-10 Beck is back and doing more good work] All in all, Mr. Ailes’ vision does not appeal to this conservative, even though they do sometimes do great work at the Blond News Network.

OK Andrew, let’s do this thing.

Posted in liberals, word-drum with tags , on December 11, 2009 by Word-Drum

With the success of Word-Drum’s Communist Martyrs Memorial Fund, we at World-Wide Panties Inc. are proud to announce the new

                                 Palestinian Martyrs Fund

Nothing is more important than Climate Change. By contributing to this fund you will be helping to construct windmills and place solar panels on mosques in the occupied territories.

While the Zionists try to corner the market on Green Technology, your contribution will only go to products produced by the Hassan Brothers of Damascus.

For a large donation you will receive a lock of Yasser Arafat’s hair and a 500 round box of 7.62 X 39 ammo (for an AK-47).

Show the world that you care about the earth and all it’s creatures (except for Zionists and conservatives.).

                                         The Anti-NPR

My bunker is somewhere in Northern Arizona. I have long felt the need for a new radio station in the region. There is only one good station that you can receive on the AM band. On FM, turn up the volume and you’ll hear the sensitive people from NPR. imagesCATDXUH0

I have many ideas for producing good radio and trouncing the competition (except when they run Rush Limbaugh). Anyone with knowledge of broadcasting and how a signal can or can’t be sent over the mountains, as well as business, syndication and other pertinent matters, should contact me. At least let’s have a discussion.(Radio Station Notes here)

If anyone wants do a little hunting and or shooting, also contact me. No liberals.

why rush rules

Have you noticed how the egotism of the TV or radio host grows with their ratings?

But Rush Limbaugh started with a healthy large ego and has remained consistent. Giving the listener EIB and balancing his bravado.

On TV, O’Reilly the Moderate, lost me a long time ago.(Three Cheers for Laura Ingrahm!) But now even Glenn Beck is growing tedious. The more their shows become about them, the worse they get.

On radio, Michael Savage is the worst. I used to hear some moments of brilliance on his show. He was very good with callers.

Broadcasting is like life: All things in moderation. The essential ego needed to do a talk show must remain in check. But Savage is like a crazy person and makes me nervous.

When we are plagued by commercial breaks every few minutes, to be selling your book all the time during the show, is bad form. So is trash talking your competitors. Rush never does that and has shorter commericial breaks than the rest.

Having been a DJ has served El Rushbo well (so has Paul Shanklin whose Obama imitation is priceless) and is no reason to mock the King of Talk Radio.
